Terms of Use
Last updated: 20 September 2026
These terms govern your use of smartlaycan.com. Use of the SmartLaycan platform itself is governed by a separate written agreement with the desk that licenses it — this page is about the website you are reading.

2. What this website is
This website describes the SmartLaycan platform and invites enquiries about it. It is informational: nothing on it is an offer capable of acceptance, a commitment to supply, or advice of any kind — commercial, legal, or relating to chartering or freight markets. A supply of the platform comes about only under a signed agreement.
3. The product screens shown here
The interface screens on this website are drawn for illustration and filled with invented data. They are not screenshots of a live desk, and no real counterparty, vessel, cargo, rate or message appears on them. Figures quoted about the market or about the platform's throughput are indicative and may change.
4. Intellectual property
The SmartLaycan name, the wave mark, the design, the text and the screen designs on this website belong to us, and you may not copy, republish or adapt them beyond what normal browsing and ordinary quotation with attribution require.
The typeface is Barlow, used under the SIL Open Font License. The map image is built from OpenStreetMap data © OpenStreetMap contributors and rendered with Protomaps; their own licences apply to it. WhatsApp, Meta and other third-party names and marks on this site belong to their owners and are used only to say what the platform connects to.
5. Contacting us
When you write to the address on this site, write as you would to any business contact: say who you are and what you want. Do not send us confidential material, and do not send us personal data about other people, before we have an agreement that provides for it. We answer enquiries as a commercial matter, not as a support obligation.
6. Acceptable use
Do not attempt to gain unauthorised access to this website or anything behind it, interfere with its operation, scrape it at a rate that degrades it for others, or use it to distribute anything unlawful.
7. Availability and liability
We publish this website as it is and do not warrant that it will be available without interruption or free of error. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for loss arising from reliance on the information published here or from any inability to reach the site. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited, including liability for fraud, for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or the rights of a consumer under mandatory law.
8. Links out
Where we link to another site, we do so for reference; we do not control it and are not responsible for its content or its handling of your data.
9. Privacy
How we handle personal data is set out in our Privacy Policy, which forms part of these terms.
10. Governing law
These terms are governed by the law of Ukraine, and disputes about them belong to the courts of Ukraine — without displacing any mandatory protection available to you under the law of the country where you live.
11. Changes
We may revise these terms as the site changes. The current version always lives at this address, and the date at the top says when it last changed.
